Fall 2024 Literary Lunch Hours

FREE registration will open soon

Take a break from your routine and tap into your creativity for a lunch hour! This fall we will once again offer a series of free, monthly lunchtime drop-in and write sessions. Each Literary Lunch Hour will take place online from 12 – 1 pm ET on the following dates:

Wednesday, October 23, 2024

An hour of reading and creative writing-focused NBM activities with Creative Lead Damian Tarnopolsky.

Wednesday, November 20, 2024

Curriculum Lead Karen Gold hosts a collaborative session on writing, reflection, practice, and NBM.

Wednesday, December 11, 2024

Author and physician Conor Mc Donnell joins the Lab for an interactive literature and medicine session with a focus on our new project, Case Repertory.

Join us for an hour of writing activities, reflective exercises, and creative readings facilitated by NBM Lab Program Leads and guest faculty.

These sessions will offer a variety of welcoming writing exercises and informal opportunities to share work, as well as the chance to connect and collaborate with like-minded healthcare readers and writers.

You may find your professional outlook refreshed and reinvigorated, or be inspired to start on your next creative project — or simply enjoy a replenishing hour reconnecting with your creative, reflecting, self.

About the Literary Lunch Hours

With an emphasis on interactivity and collaboration, our Literary Lunch Hours provide space for members of the NBM Lab community to learn about new work in the field, engage in dialogue, and exchange ideas. We look forward to seeing you online!
