NBM Lab Alumni Coffee Hours
See individual session for registration
We warmly invite participants of our offerings, both past and present, to visit the NBM Lab again online this fall for our new Alumni Coffee Hours. Stay tuned!
Each Coffee Hour will take place online from 6:30pm – 7:30pm ET on the following dates:
Wednesday, October 30, 2024
Where are we at? A fall check-in hosted by Creative Lead Damian Tarnopolsky and Advanced Certificate learner Paula Holmes-Rodman. Bring your thoughts, questions, enthusiasms and ruminations for a wide-ranging discussion on all things NBM. (And do an NBM exercise or two).
Thursday, December 5, 2024
How do you NBM? A low-risk opportunity to try out teaching techniques and NBM exercises with NBM faculty and learners. Bring your favourite/untried NBM clinical, teaching and writing approaches and activities and we’ll collaboratively give them a go in a supportive environment. We can compare notes on best practices, things to avoid, and everything in between.
Registration Opening Soon
Whether you’ve just finished an offering and are thinking about your next step, or it’s been a while and you want to take up a dropped thread in this work, this is your chance to:
- Reconnect with NBM Lab friends and colleagues
- Refresh your professional practice and work on your writing in a small, supportive group
- Hear about new NBM Lab projects and opportunities
Hosted by NBM Lab participants and faculty, these events will take an informal and collaborative approach.
About Alumni Hours
Offered on two evenings per season, the NBM Lab Alumni Coffee Hours are an accessible and low-commitment way for participants of our offerings to check in with friends and colleagues at the NBM Lab, get a refresher on narrative-based approaches to healthcare, and reconnect with their literary interests.
