Amita Dayal is a family physician working in Port Perry, ON. As a generalist in a small town, she practices family medicine, long term care, hospitalist and palliative care, in addition to teaching both at the medical student and resident levels. Amita has developed a strong interest in creative writing over the last few years and has found the natural intersection of medical practice and narrative. She is excited to be a part of the University of Toronto’s NBM lab.
