Advanced Certificate learner and family physician Amita Dayal publishes a children’s book that draws upon her cherished family experiences and memories. Dayal describes Leo’s End of Summer Bath as a labour of love. Six years ago, after a family cottage vacation, Dayal was inspired by her son’s obsession with fishing and ‘critter-catching’ and penned this fun story that brings that narrative to life. The beautiful illustrations complete the project and were created by family friend and artist, Jace Laumann, who is currently a student at OCADU. The book was self-published through Friesen Press.
