Foundational Certificate alum Leanne Toshiko Simpson’s debut novel Never Been Better, published by HarperCollins, has been longlisted for Canada Reads 2026. This annual “battle of the books” organized by CBC celebrates great Canadian literature with public figures championing titles they believe everyone should read.
