Winter/Spring 2025 Coffee Hours: Community Conversations
Feb. 6 & Apr. 10 – Online 6:30-7:30pm ET
Whether you’ve just finished an offering and are thinking about your next step, or it’s been a while and you want to take up a dropped thread in this work, this is your chance to:
- Reconnect with NBM Lab friends and colleagues
- Refresh your professional practice and work on your writing in a small, supportive group
- Hear about new NBM Lab projects and opportunities
Hosted by NBM Lab participants and facilitators, our Coffee Hours take an informal and collaborative approach.
These events are free to attend. Please register in advance to receive meeting access for each event this season.
All coffee hours are online from 6:30 – 7:30 pm ET.
Thursday, February 6, 2025
Reconnect with narrative at a check-in hosted by family physician and Advanced Certificate learner Amita Dayal.
Please bring your NBM interests and questions to share in a wide-ranging, informal conversation on all things NBM (and enjoy an NBM exercise or two).
Thursday, April 10, 2025
Where are we at? A check-in hosted by Advanced Certificate graduate Miriam Colleran and Curriculum Lead Karen Gold. Bring your thoughts, questions, enthusiasms, and ruminations for a wide-ranging discussion on all things NBM. Miriam will also share a short NBM activity she’s using with medical learners in Ireland.
About the Coffee Hours
Our Coffee Hours are an accessible and low-commitment way for participants of our offerings and friends of the NBM Lab to check in with friends and colleagues, gain a refresher on narrative-based approaches to healthcare, and reconnect with their literary interests.
