The Mudroom is a creative and reflective writing workshop for health professionals. Meetings are held monthly and provide a space to write, read, try out exercises in prose and verse, share work and give feedback. We’ll find inspiration and/or consolation, and help each other along the health humanities road. In between meetings, online sharing will allow for continued collaboration and connection. All are welcome!
Target Audience
This program is designed for health professionals seeking to explore creative and reflective writing, and will also benefit healthcare practitioners from multiple disciplines looking to inform their professional practice with creatively informed approaches.
Goals
Through advanced discussion of creative and reflective work, writing exercises and activities, participants will improve their writing and reading skills. A creative and supportive health humanities community will be built through collaboration and mentorship. Published work and work created by peers will be explored.
Objective
To become a better writer and perhaps as such a better health practitioner.
